Leah Palmer, ATC is a highly experienced and dedicated athletic trainer with over 20 years of expertise in the field. She currently serves as an Athletic Trainer Manager at Baylor College of Medicine and has been with the department of Orthopedic Surgery since March 2018. In this role, Leah provides comprehensive care and support to patients/athletes, ensuring their optimal performance and recovery with two of the department’s doctors, Dr. Phillip Williams and Dr. Adil Ahmed.


Prior to her current role, Leah was the Clinical Coordinator and Certified Athletic Trainer at the Athletic Orthopedics & Knee Center in Houston, Texas and was also the Practice Coordinator at Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine.


 Leah has covered all sports teams, working closely with coaches, parents, and physicians to ensure the health and safety of athletes while she is in the clinic. She has also contributed to physical therapy clinics, school programs, and community sports events.


Leah holds a master’s degree in athletic training from Georgia State University and a bachelor’s degree in health and human performance/Exercise Sciences/Athletic Training from the University of Florida.


Her love of sports does not stop at treating patients, for Leah is an athlete herself. An avid cyclist and equestrian rider, Leah has completed the MS150 multiple times and is a member of The League Houston.
